OVER THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE, SAN FRANCISCO

The Golden Gate Bridge beckoned again and this time we managed to get a wrong road , swiftly rectified by Roy's high speed U turn! We stopped briefly at the usual viewpoint after crossing the bridge then ventured down a side road to Fort Baker National Recreation area below the bridge where we spent an hour, back on to the 101, missed our junction, took the next one, got wrong in Petaluma – another U turn and finally arrived at Bodega Bay and got a State park campsite at Bodega Dunes. We had an enjoyable evening with an English couple who we invited round for drinks. They had cycled from Anchorage, Alaska and were heading to San Diego and they were probably about our age - Oh not for me – no Roy don’t even go there!

HOLDING UP THE BRIDGE - ROY TOOK 5 PHOTOS OF ME AND THEN SAID CANT DO IT YOUR ARMS ARE TOO SHORT!
