Sadly we bade goodbye to the Pacific coast and headed to Portland to visit some great friends we met in Alaska. On the way we made a beeline for this museum to see the famous Spruce Goose, for those not in the know, you could watch the film "The Aviator".
We spent about 3 hours seeing the exhibits, I preferred the aviation side rather than the space section and I was amazed at the size of the Spruce Goose - just fantastic.

The problem with these museums is that the never let you fly their planes. However I really like the big Spruce Goose. Very interesting. Keep on going. Love T&S
