EVERGREEN AVIATION AND SPACE MUSEUM, McMINNVILLE, OREGON

Sadly we bade goodbye to the Pacific coast and headed to Portland to visit some great friends we met in Alaska. On the way we made a beeline for this museum to see the famous Spruce Goose, for those not in the know, you could watch the film "The Aviator".

We spent about 3 hours seeing the exhibits, I preferred the aviation side rather than the space section and I was amazed at the size of the Spruce Goose - just fantastic.

  1. The problem with these museums is that the never let you fly their planes. However I really like the big Spruce Goose. Very interesting. Keep on going. Love T&S
