Had a Wild day visiting the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park - it was superb to see Manatees swimming round the underground observatory which sat over the actual spring. They looked so cute as they came up to you face to face, such gentle giants.
There were many rescued or injured animals and we spent hours wandering round the Birds of Prey, Red Wolves, Bobcat, Fox, Whooping Cranes, Shore Birds, Waterfowl, Black bears, Florida Panther, Reptiles, Alligator and Hippo.
We then got on the boat and had a peaceful 20 minute ride back through the swamp - another great day. Shame that there is so much traffic in Florida up to now and cannot see it improving as we head further south. Still its a great life!
