THE FOUR AMIGOS STILL HEAD SOUTH

THIS BUG FLEW THROUGH ROY'S WINDOW AND LANDED ON JAMIE WHO QUICKLY STOOD ON IT - BUT WHEN GOT OUT IT WAS STILL STRUGGLING!

IT WAS HUGE!

LA PAZ LUNCH SPOT
We decided as we had such a magical time whale watching we did not want to risk another trip.
I had been looking forward to visiting La Paz – means Peace – It did not live up to its name! It's the capital of Baja, we drove round and round looking for the campsite with no luck. We found a Walmart, then the beach – had lunch – then left, headed south again, back to the Pacific side and stopped at Todos Santos, a palm grove and mission town set uphill from the beaches, named as one of 30 “Pueblos Magicos”(Magical Towns) one of Mexico's most picturesque.

MISION DE SANTA ROSA DE TODOS SANTOS

FOR TAMAR
Spent a couple of nights at Todos, got our laundry done for us - 100 pesos for the lot, spent the morning looking round the shops then walked two miles to the beach and had a lazy afternoon sunbathing, photographing pelicans, watching the fishing boats bringing their catch ashore by going full steam onto the beach missing the crashing waves. Corinna spotted a blow fish that had been swept ashore and Jamie did try to send it back into the sea without success.
We had a fun evening when we hit the town, margaritas, beers, Tacos, big Burros and poor Roy burning his mouth when Jamie and Corinna suggested the yellow coloured sauce was mango – it was sooo hot it numbed your lips – Jamie then decided it was probably fresh chillies and tabasco!
