A DAY OF DENTIST, WATERFALL AND AN IGUANA WITH ATTITUDE!

Time to head back up the Baja. First stop Los Barriles back on the Sea of Cortez, a beach resort where we blew the electric plugs on two sites before sorting out our problem!

I seem to have forgotten to say that we are having superb weather, most days reach 28oC and endless blue skies.
Today we wet off to find a waterfall in this desert land. Roy has been having bother with a loose tooth and had tried to get in the dentist yesterday but they were full for the week. As we passed today he just tried again in case they had a cancellation and came out saying they would X- Ray it and then 15 minutes later appeared with the tooth missing! Job sorted!
We drove about 10 km over a dirt road, hiked down about a mile to a beautiful oasis area with a waterfall. Had a hike around the area then Jamie and Corinna had a swim - Roy and I chickened out as it looked quite green and there were fish nibbling your feet.
We went back to the town of Santiago and found the Mision, then while looking at the library, we spotted an iguana in the entrance. Jamie thought it was the woman's pet and said can I hold him and as he approached, the iguana ran into the library, the woman leapt on the table and in the process of trying to get it to leave it shot up Roy's leg then ran for cover inside the library. It took Jamie, Roy and Corinna about 20 minutes moving shelves and boxes to find it. Then suddenly it was all action and Jamie herded it down the room with a broom, cornered it - then grabbed it by the tail and took it outside! The library lady and I sat with our feet up on the tables and laughed so much!
Back for wine and chilling out! A fun day!
