GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

BEAN HOLLOW STATE BEACH

PIGEON POINT LIGHTHOUSE
We continued along the beautiful coastal road 1 with endless State beaches ablaze with wildflowers and crossed the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, stopped at the vista point then walked all the way back over the bridge and back again. Views were stunning but the noise of the traffic was relentless. Following the same road it deteriorated to the ones that Roy loves and I hate – narrow, steep and endless sharp bends but finally we arrived at the campsite near Point Reyes National Seashore.
