Still
heading north we drove the narrow Hwy-1, the dramatic coast road that
follows a tortuous, exhilarating route carved out of bedrock cliffs
five hundred feet above the Pacific Ocean. We stayed two nights at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, hiking and sightseeing.
