PINGUISIBI TRAIL

Our last day in Agawa Bay we spent hiking the Pinguisibi or Sand River Trail. Named by the Ojibwe as river of fine sand, it was an ancient travel route used by them as they hunted, fished and trapped northwards into the interior.

A beautiful trail along a stunning river with three waterfalls, an autumn sunshine day and warmer at 18oC.

love my fungi!

This is really back to basics with camping! Roy takes me to all the best places! A trail we would not want to share with anyone Alison!
