PICTURED ROCKS NATIONAL LAKESHORE, MICHIGAN

After stressing over the laptop and getting nowhere, we spent a wonderful day near Munising. We drove round several pretty waterfalls then in the afternoon we had a beautiful 3 hour boat trip along Pictured Rocks on Lake Superior.
Sandstone cliffs tower 50 to 200 feet above the water, the name comes from the streaks of mineral stain that decorate the sculpted cliffs.
I don't think I've ever seen such stunning rock colours and formations. The sun shone and we had a marvelous day. Back to the laptop!
