This
is the weekend when all of America comes out of the woodwork for
their last camping trip! They said on the news that 35 million people will be on the move this weekend!
We had not booked anything as we are moving
each day heading to Lassen National Park where we have booked for
Labor Day, so lucky to get the last campsite at MacKerricher State
Park in Fort Bragg. We got to our site and it looked a bit like a pull
through but not a lot of room for the slide out but there was tons of
space if we backed in, which we did – only to find when we came
back from a walk, a note stuck in the door saying please park along!!
Bureaucracy gone mad! We moved and I had a wine!

DELIGHTFUL DOLPHINS!
The
road continued narrow and twisty but not busy. We spotted a
vista point which had a pod of dolphins in the
bay - fabulous!
We have now left the glorious Californian coast and headed inland along Redwood highway, stopped a night at Stafford for wifi.

Just move slowly so that you can fix all those wonderful sights, sounds and activities in your mind. T
ReplyDeleteBut you know us Terry/Sally - not too slow, so much to see so little time. We are going slow for us!
