BLOOD MOON

 Onwards to the most fabulous mountains in my opinion, The Grand Tetons. We stayed 3 nights at Signal Mountain campground in the north, did a great 6 mile RT hike to Signal Mountain. We had been up at 4-15am, freezing to death to see the Blood Moon – a lunar eclipse. It was strange to see the moon turn red and you can see why people of a bygone era believes something sinister was about to happen. For us, it was superb but perhaps even more sensational was the amount of stars we could see – no light pollution makes the universe a much better place.
