ECHO PARK DAY

After a comment from a friend on FB about Echo Park being a hidden gem we took off for the day to see if it was true – it was spectacular!

We drove the 30 mile Harpers Corner Scenic Drive, stopping at viewpoints and doing the 2 mile hike at the very end giving stunning views. We then went on the 12 mile dirt road to Echo Park, Steamboat Rock and the confluence of the Green and Yampa Rivers, through Sand Canyon, Whispering Cave, petroglyphs and historic Chew Ranch– just amazing and we were the only ones there! Thank you Peter! Hot and sunny again today, the weather has to break soon!
