BEFORE READING THIS YOU NEED TO GO BACK ABOUT 3 BLOGS TO THE OREGON TRAIL NATIONAL SCENIC CENTER ONE SO YOU CAN GET THE FULL STORY FROM THE BEGINNING!

MEMALOOSE OVERLOOK - THE ISLAND IS WHERE THE INDIANS LEFT THEIR DEAD

Yesterday was quite stressful as the garage man kept sending us texts about the fault with the Dodge, am sure he was looking for a loophole but in the end we decided it was best to drive back to Bend with the truck and trailer on Monday so he could deal with it in person.

We made use of the rental car and spent two days visiting scenic areas. On Sunday we drove up to the base of Mount Hood, quite spectacular! We combined it with a 4 mile hike to pretty Tamanawas Falls.

Today, Monday 12th, we returned the rental car and drove back down to Bend so the company can hopefully sort out the Dodge, 150 miles south instead of heading north but at least I got to sit in a posh lounge and get caught up with wifi.
Let's hope the next blog will have good Dodge news!

  1. Super pics Anne. I love the Bonneville Dam one, it really looks like a picture postcard (call that a compliment), it has so much life in it. But the other ones are great too. I think you have a great eye for composition, I just snap pics.
