MAMMOTH CAVE NATIONAL PARK IN KENTUCKY

We plumped for the Grand Avenue tour of Mammoth Cave National Park, four and a half hours walking 4 miles which focused on the "ups and downs" of the cave system including multiple tough hill climbs and lots of geological variety.
With over 365 miles of surveyed passageways, Mammoth Cave is over twice as long as any known cave. It was a fun adventure, eating our lunch in the Snowball room and culminated in a beautiful room called Frozen Niagara where there were stunning cave formations.
